Tom is very informative and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about Tom and how professional him

The total experience of purchasing my new vehicle from Allan was enjoyable. Allan was very informative explaining thing and did not push for a sale allowing me to come to the decision that the car I wanted was the right vehicle for me. Every one else I dealt with at Key West Ford was also very friendly and helpful. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely do it again when the time comes.

Found a car online, called in and scheduled an appointment with Peter. He got the car prepared before we arrived and got us a great deal. Highly recommend!
great guys. Rob set me up with a great truck, at a good price. when we were finishing, Ian came out and helped get the truck ready with paper work licence plates etc... Wes was a down to earth manager. I was impressed how these guys and everyone else in the sales department worked as a team. my truck was detailed perfectly. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I have certainly found the dealership that I would do business with in the future.

For most B.C. drivers, air conditioning is a necessity, not a luxury. As the weather starts to sizzle, a cool vehicle interior is an absolute must when ensuring a comfortable driving experience.
But, over time, A/C systems can lose their cool and blow warm or hot air inside the cabin. That’s usually a sign of low refrigerant, a leak in the climate system components, a faulty cooling compressor, a dirty cabin air filter or something worse.
The best way to avoid these troubles is by having your Ford’s A/C system inspected yearly – preferably before summer’s arrival. Watch here for more:
If your Ford car or truck is giving you the sweats, book an appointment with our Service Department for a complete A/C inspection. If we find that certain components need to be replaced to ensure optimal performance of your car’s cooling system, our Ford Service Experts can handle those for you on the spot, so that you can get back on the road again – quickly and comfortably.

Did you know that hot weather can actually increase your vehicle’s fuel economy? It’s true! Many drivers report that they have to fill up their vehicles less in the summer.
Compared to the cooler winter months, your engine warms up to an efficient temperature faster in nicer weather, summer grades of gasoline can have slightly more energy and warm air causes less aerodynamic drag than cold air.
However, driving with your windows rolled down or blasting your car’s air conditioning system can reduce your fuel economy. There’s a fine line between your comfort and fuel savings.
To help you go farther on each tank of gas, here are some simple tips to help improve your fuel economy this summer:
•Roll the windows down at lower speeds and save the AC for highway speeds
•Don't use more AC than needed
•Park in the shade or use a sunshade to keep your car’s cabin cool while not in use
•If your vehicle is equipped with a moonroof, keep the roof shade closed to reduce heat buildup
•Drive with the windows open for a short time before using the AC to help cool your vehicle faster
•Don't idle with the AC running before driving – most systems will cool the vehicle faster while driving
•For plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles, pre-cooling the cabin while plugged into the charger can extend your vehicle's range and use less battery power
•Keep up with your vehicle’s regular maintenance to ensure your vehicle is operating at its peak efficiency

Spring will soon arrive - and with it will come heavy heat and long days, with the sticky-sweet humidity clinging to every road. Air conditioning, therefore, will prove essential for every driver, sparing them the rising temperatures.
Too often, however, do units fail - with the remnants of winter taxing the systems, flooding the vents with ice, snow, and salt. Drivers experience a series of complications, all resulting in weak air streams and hot cabins.
Do these symptoms sound familiar?
Banging or Rattling Noises.
Excessive Water Drainage.
Low Air Pressure.
Each of these signs suggests a compromised unit - which is why Key West Ford recommends visiting our Service Department. Our experienced technicians examine every system with the greatest of care, identifying damaged cooling fans, low refrigerant levels, clogged filters, and more. We then provide drivers with cost-effective solutions and help them achieve optimum air streams. This ensures that every cabin stays comfortable during the spring.
No longer dread the season. Embrace it instead with cool, consistent air.
